Last Friday I got a great opportunity to go to dinner with my oldest friends. Lindsey, who I met the first day at a new school in 2nd grade, and Katie, who Lindsey had known since birth and I finally met her in 3rd grade. There is something so comforting about these two ladies. We sort of just let it all out, let our hair down, talked about the great and not so great things going on in our lives and encouraged each other. It was so great. We don’t all talk very often, but when we do, we pick up right where we left off and I know that if I ever needed serious help, they’d be there to lend a hand. I think they know I would do the same, no matter the problem or obstacle. I’m feeling so blessed and refreshed from it.

And yes, yes this is a giant statue of a man submerging from the ground.

Wanna know what to wear to a May wedding? Well, here are some examples. 🙂 This is the wedding I attended over the weekend. The weather was beautiful and perfect. The ceremony was extremely moving. Everything was picture perfect. Got some fun photos with friends and lots of me and Bob.

I went with a very springy dress (c/o Shop Ruche) and so did my friend Gertrude (the red-head). My little sis was in the wedding and they got their dresses from Anthropologie. All the shoes were plain and got embellished (and made WAY better) by KM2 Shoes.

They actually tied a knot. They tied a fisherman’s knot and it’s the strongest knot. The rope will break before the knot comes undone and the knot only gets tighter with pressure. (Made me cry!)

So, have you guys noticed that I’m posting in the mornings now? Are you OK with that? I just started realizing that I have 2 days (Thursdays and Fridays) a week where I post things in the morning and thought, why don’t I post first thing everyday? Then you can wake up, get your Rose Ă  la Mode fix, and get on with your day. Whatdya think?

OK, and this weekend I went to that fabulous wedding that I told you about. I’m trying to wrap my head around what to show you guys, and I think I’m going to steal some photos from Gertrude cause hers are better. So, those are still to come. It was so beautiful. They even tied a knot instead of doing a unity candle. More on that to come later.
