Three Days, Three Dresses

Guess what. It rained on Friday! And this was the only shot (on my phone) of my outfit that someone said, “You look like you walked out of an Indie movie!” Yesssssssssss! (fist pump!)

Saturday night we got to go to a wedding for some friends. It was hot and muggy outside, but it was so beautiful! And this picture does nothing for the hottness that was Bob’s outfit. He was wearing those pants like a BOSS! Wish you could have seen his backside.

Sunday I went to church, a wedding shower, and the mall. I must say, it’s been a while since I got so many compliments on an outfit. (Double fist pump!) I need to wear this dress more often!

Get it! H&M Dress (similar), Target Leggings (similar),Michael Kors Watch, Shoes c/o Just Fabulous

So, I got this dress last summer and I love it. I’ve only worn it a handful of times because 1) Bob thinks it looks like a nighty if I wear it without pants, and 2) It’s really kind of short and see-through, And 3)how many times can you wear this with jeans before it’s just boring. I always wondered if I should wear them with leggings, but never felt fully confident in that (leggings still frighten me!), so I just never even tried it on.

Well, on Sunday I saw someone wearing almost the exact same thing and I thought, “Dang! She looks pretty cute!” Then I realized I had the same items in my closet and I should go for it! So I did. And this is the end result. And I kind of love it. And I’m sad that I had nowhere to go today . . . So I decided to throw it on again the next day since I had a girls night out…

Sometimes, you just need a little confidence.

I Just Came To Say Yellow…

Good morning my little chicken nuggets! It’s yellow day on Everybody Everywear! And I’m super excited because I’ve been looking for an excuse to wear this outfit that my friend Kristi helped me pick out. See, I wouldn’t have put these Toms with this dress, but that was the old me. The new me is excited for adventures in clothing combinations!

Speaking of my friend Kristi, I’m so excited because she is quite the jewelry maker and is helping me make one of these today! We’ve already got the supplies, we’ve just got to get our hot glue guns out and make it happen! I’ll let you know how it goes.
