It’s almost 2011! Woohoo!

Tomorrow is my mom’s birthday. So today, my little sister and I are taking her out to celebrate. There will be shopping (wish me luck in these heels!) and lunch involved. It’s going to be great. I wanted a little sparkle, for the day, so I went with this shirt. It’s going to be almost 70 during the day and tonight it’s going to drop down to about 30. Hello St. Louis weather. So I’m trying to strategically plan my day of outfits. I may not come home before going out tonight. Got any suggestions? Ha ha!

OK, so here’s my Happy New Year/Happy Birthday Mom outfit. Do you think it needs a belt? I couldn’t find a good one in my closet to go. Hmmmm…..

What To Wear: 30/30 Challenge

OK, here is the plan for the 30/30 challenge (details here). I got really organized this time and actually wrote out 30 outfits. This is unlike me. I’d rather fly by the seat of my pants, but last time I felt I was losing momentum and needed a little help, so this time I decided to just make a little cheat sheet. I think I’m only going to use it if I’m desperate.

I really don’t like wearing the same outfit more than once (not sure why) so I think after making this list it’ll force me to be even more creative because I’ve already “worn” a lot of these outfits in my mind and want to move on. Ha ha! Hopefully the creative juices will flow freely. Or I’ll just resort to the list.

Oh, and I’m waiting on 2 items to come in the mail that will be added to these 28 items.

  • merci blah blah and the rest of the internet (me included) is nuts for Tucker for Target. This diamond dress is my number one fav and Shan wears it very well!
  • rose a la mode is in the market for a pair of “jeggings” (jean leggings)… she has a clear and concise overview of several styles and announces her top pick!
  • the hillside home is prepping a new spot in her home for a play/creative room… swoon! She has great inspiration, I can’t wait to follow the process of completion!

  • one sweet find just updated the shop with new goodies… my favorite is this vintage greek souvenir plate. It makes me think of warm greek beaches and honey doused baklava. mmmm….
