Would you believe I got this whole outfit at Target? I think I bought this skirt full price, but this whole outfit was under $20. It may have even been under $15. And it’s not something I’m embarrassed to wear out of the house! I love good deals!

Anyway, Bob wanted to go to this restaurant by our house that has a different lunch menu. He already knew what he wanted. So he told we me we could talk about work stuff while we were there. As we backed out of our driveway he said, “Business Lunch!” like a little kid about to open Christmas presents. So cute. He is a pretty even keel type of guy, so when he gets excited about something it makes me happy.

Hey there! Thanks for visiting! My name is Linda and this is my site. It’s a fashion/style blog that is for all the girls who want to look their best everyday. I don’t lead a particularly glamorous life, but that doesn’t mean I want to wear sweats everyday. I don’t consider myself an expert in the field of fashion. But I do consider myself an expert in enjoying it. I started this site because I was getting so inspired by other sites I had seen (many of them are in the sidebar on the left) and wanted to get in on the fun. But it’s taken me a long time to get here.

Growing up, I always loved buying clothes and using clothes to suit my mood. But it wasn’t until I got married (in 2005) that I started to find my own identity with clothes. My mom had always dressed me and I just sort of followed her rules for the most part. After I got married, I realized that I wanted to make a new set of rules for myself. So, I asked a few friends, who have amazing style, to take me shopping. And it started there.

I am still transforming and feeling more like myself everyday. This blog is because I want to do the best with what I’ve got and only continue to get better in all aspects. I know I have so much more to learn and I’m excited to learn from everyone who chooses to participate in this site with me.

I live in the mid-west (St. Louis) with my husband Bob and one doggie, Bella. Bob and I are self-employed and get to work from home! He’s the best husband a girl could ask for!

Giveaway: Shoes!!

So here’s the deal. I was having a day where I needed to buy myself something. These shoes were just looking at me! And my friends were telling me how amazing they looked and against my better judgement, I bought them. They are too big. Bah! So instead of passing them off to Good Will, I thought I’d see if any of you would want them! They are a size 8.5. The first one to say they want them gets them!
