Went to a wedding yesterday. It was so fun! Seems like it’s wedding season again and I’ve got a few of them coming up myself, so I thought I’d share this little tip. There are some freakin’ amazing dresses at H&M right now!

But I always struggle with what to wear to weddings. My community of friends is pretty eclectic yet trendy yet classic. Very strange. So I always strive to find a great dress that is current, makes me look like an individual, but isn’t so trendy that I’ll look back at pictures and be grossed out. Well, this little guy was perfect for me. And it was only $40 full price! Also, it comes in beige and light pink! Go get it!

But it’s not here yet. We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. It was the perfect snow. Coated the trees, but the streets were just wet. It was absolutely beautiful. It made me want to wear my Uggs, but as promised, I said no. I wore much cuter boots instead. Aren’t you proud of me? I texted 2 of my friends just to tell them that. Ha! Small steps.

I wish I could chat more, but I’m running late and I have to go change to go to dinner tonight with Bob’s family for his 30th Birthday! Let the celebrations begin! It’s gonna be a great year. I can already tell.

Valentine’s Day is probably my favorite holiday. But this year, I’m totally neglecting it. The only person getting a present today is Bella. She needs a new crate. She outgrew her puppy one. I may talk Bob into looking at new rings for him. He lost his a few months back and we haven’t replaced it yet. That does sound like a fun evening.

Wanna know why I like V-day? Because my mom always spoiled me with gifts! She was always my Valentine. She even got us chocolate covered strawberries this year. Isn’t she sweet!

Then, 6 years ago, I had my first real valentine: Bob. And do you know what? He proposed Valentine’s weekend! And that made me love it even more! My first Valentine’s day with a boyfriend and I get engaged. What a great holiday!
