I don’t know about you, but every time I put on my rain boots it never rains! But today I got lucky! My car battery died while I was at a friends house and I was forced to be outside holding an umbrella for me and her dad while he jumped my car. At that moment, I was so happy I had on my boots!

I told Bob I wanted to click my heels and. Thought it’d be very Singin’ in the Rain of me. But my neighbor was out (in the rain!!!) and I didn’t know what I would tell him other than that I was practicing for a musical. So I only jumped 3 times, but Bob couldn’t quite get it. After he looked at them he said, “Well, you have a bunch of stupid ones you get to try to work with. Ha ha ha ha ha!” Thanks Bob.

Day 20 Dinner Out

Today I got to go to the pool with my sister-in-law and my niece and nephew. The first thing my nephew told me was that we were going to be having ice cream in cones later. Yesssss! What he didn’t tell me is that he was going to ask me to play Robin (from Batman) which I am told is his favorite and it was an honor! Gosh, I love being an Aunt!

On a completely separate note, is it strange that I actually thought to myself, “Gosh! I haven’t been to Target in a long time!” I tend to think my life is made much better by Target. If I’m having a bad day, it is so therapeutic to go to Target and just wander the aisles. Please don’t tell me I’m the only one! I want to go there so bad, but I think I want to check out the clothing situation and I’m on a spending freeze for another 10 days. Hope I can make it!

And yes, I did totally copy off My Edit and tie up my dress. What can I say? She’s full of good ideas!

So, I’m figuring out which are my favorite items in this challenge, so I put them all together for one MEGA outfit!

1: These Jessica Simpson Sandals
2: This Black Skirt from Target
3: The Chambray Shirt

This challenge is certainly making me use my creativity, although I feel like I keep repeating the same things over and over because, well, I am, but that’s ok! My sister told me the best advice she ever got from my dad was this: No one is thinking about you, they’re only thinking about themselves. Isn’t that amazing? It’s so true! And not in a bad way either. But you know when you have that zit on your face that you’re sure the whole world sees? Well, most people don’t see it because they’re busy worrying about the zit on their face that they don’t want you to see! You know it’s true!

I guess the moral of this story is that I shouldn’t worry about what I’m wearing and start pointing out others flaws. That’ll make life much better. 🙂
