Work it Wednesday: 3 Ways To Wear A Graphic T

I know I’m almost 30, but I am loving graphic tees! Especially ones that really seem to fit my personality. In fact, I love them so much, that just this week, I wore this one 3 different ways! (Don’t be grossed out. Two of them were from the same day.) OK, so I wore the same sweater over it too. I figured for this time of year, they’re a pair.

I started with my “I love you nearly as much as Donuts” shirt.

Jeans and Heels

Pair it with extra long jeans, heels and a funky necklace

Skirt and Boots

Wear it with a colorful skirt, neutral boots, and a neutral necklace and bracelet

Make it nice and cozy with a scarf, jeggings, and Hunter boots

Work It Wednesday: Denim Shirt

Hello Wednesday! Let’s work it, shall we? Today’s item, my favorite denim shirt! I got this baby for my birthday 2 years ago and it’s still going strong. I wear it as often as I can without you noticing. 🙂 Now, I know the typical work it Wednesday is for 3 ways, but I couldn’t help myself, I’ve got 4! I’m such a rule breaker!  But the possibilities are endless! Think of your denim shirt as you would a pair of jeans! Ahhh, now we’re talking. Here we go!

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter

  1. This past spring I wore it over a maxi dress and belted the waist (since I couldn’t tuck it in). I LOVED the result.
  2. Paired with a pair of shorts, they always look great. I wore wedges instead of flats to dress it up a bit.
  3. Ahhh, fall, it’s my favorite time of year. I love this shirt with black cords and boots. I’ve also been known to put a sweater over it.
  4. This wooly pencil skirt turned this casual denim shirt into something really beautiful. I think my favorite part about it is the color combination. I’m such a sucker for pastels!

Last week my little sister Jamey and I babysat our niece Anna who is 7, and our nephew Will who is 4 and took them to the pool. The pool was close, so we decided to walk and Will decided to be the man and carry the bag.

Will: Can someone realize how strong I am?
Jamey, Anna & Me: Oh yeah, wow Will, you are so strong!

And that’s how you get boys to do all the hard stuff you don’t want to do.
