Happy Thanksgiving Back (Outfit 18)

11.25.2010 by Linda Lotich //

Remember in You’ve Got Mail when Kathleen Kelly gets stuck in the wrong line at the grocery store and Joe Fox comes to her rescue and makes Rose, the cashier, smile? Then she says “Hoppy Thanksgibing Bock” with her accent? So funny. So this is how I greet all my family. And you, apparently.

How is your Thanksgiving? Did you stuff yourself to the max? Well I wore clothing that stretches so I won’t have to unzip my pants at my in-law’s house. They might have seen my stomach pouch tho since this dress is form fitting. Guess I didn’t think this through all the way. But at least I’m comfy!

A friend of mine bought me this dress a few years back and it’s served me well ever since. It’s very much a holiday dress. I’ve worn it for lots of holiday parties. It’s nice because it’s pretty light weight so it’s good if it gets hot inside, but you can also layer it so well. I’ll totally be wearing this several more times before the year is up. I just love it!

Lounging Around (Outfit 17)

11.24.2010 by Linda Lotich //

Having a day where I just don’t want to get dressed because I have no incentive. I’m chilly, I have nowhere to go, don’t feel my best. So I went for a giant sweatshirt and slippers. 🙂 Hey, this is my life. I gotta have some days where i allow myself to do this. I wouldn’t necessarily put this outfit up if it weren’t the 30/30 but since it is, you get to see it all. At least I’ve got this cute flower pin to liven up the outfit!

Tonight I’m baking a sweet potato pie for Thanksgiving tomorrow! It has become my tradition to make that for Bob’s parents house. They love it too much. And it is a wonderful pie, if I do say so myself. What do you make for Thanksgiving?

It’s Warm Out (Outfit 16)

11.23.2010 by Linda Lotich //

Yesterday was so warm out! I could hardly believe it. Then, it rained and got cold. This is yet another time when I’m so happy I added these shorts into my 30/30 mix. But I had no idea it would happen. The real reason I put them in is because Michael Kors tweeted that he’d loved how so many girls were wearing jean shorts and boots with bare legs and so I decided to listen to him. And it’s making me happy!

The other thing that is making me happy is updating my wishlist on Amazon! Do you have a wishlist with them? You’re probably already up on this, but it’s so handy. You can put anything on there from any online store and it keeps it updated if people go through your list to buy. I just put 20 items up from Anthropologie! I find new stuff I want everyday!

What do you want for Christmas? (Wait, maybe we should save this question for after Thanksgiving?)
