Christmas Tree Day (Outfit 19)

11.26.2010 by Linda Lotich //

Tomorrow is our annual Christmas Tree Day! Every year, Bob’s family gets their Christmas tree. Well, 5 years ago, Bob and I got our first tree, and last year, Bob’s sister and her husband got their first tree. Thankfully Bob’s dad has a giant van and can haul 3 trees to each of our homes. Then, we decorate his parents tree, make dinner (almost always pizza) and cookies, drink hot chocolate, etc. This year, I’m going to talk them all into watching White Christmas which Bob and his sister have never seen! Isn’t that tragic?! I will have better pictures soon of getting the tree and our decorated tree. Maybe even a family picture!

What’s your favorite Christmas movie? When are you putting your tree up?

Mad for Plaid (Outfit 14 & 15)

11.22.2010 by Linda Lotich //

Yea! I’m finally caught up!

I never realized how much I love plaid! I’ve got all these plaid things in my 30/30 wardrobe and I’m loving them. They add a little bit of spice in this not so spicy challenge.

And by the way, I would have never worn the second outfit had it not been for the challenge. Thanks Kendi! I think you achieved your goal!

What To Wear: 30/30 Challenge

11.07.2010 by Linda Lotich //

OK, here is the plan for the 30/30 challenge (details here). I got really organized this time and actually wrote out 30 outfits. This is unlike me. I’d rather fly by the seat of my pants, but last time I felt I was losing momentum and needed a little help, so this time I decided to just make a little cheat sheet. I think I’m only going to use it if I’m desperate.

I really don’t like wearing the same outfit more than once (not sure why) so I think after making this list it’ll force me to be even more creative because I’ve already “worn” a lot of these outfits in my mind and want to move on. Ha ha! Hopefully the creative juices will flow freely. Or I’ll just resort to the list.

Oh, and I’m waiting on 2 items to come in the mail that will be added to these 28 items.

Here we go!
