New Hair & Nails

Sooooo, here are the new nails! Yippee! Aren’t they fun!? Doesn’t it just make you want to paint your nails different colors? I know I can’t wait until this falls off just so I can paint them another amazing combo. What shall I try next? Oh, and I forgot to tell you that my toenails are covered in Sparkle-icious! Boo-yaw!

I know I mentioned in passing the other day that this whole nail polish thing is making me want to take more risks! I’m not a very risky person (if you can’t tell) and I don’t know why! So, I decided to make myself a better person and change that about myself. So, last Friday I got really bold and decided to rip up my jeans! And then I decided that I’m going to start trying more fun things with my hurr. I feel like I’ve been in a rut, and I’m trying to claw my way out. And this rolling my bangs back into a bobby pin is new for me. I have a friend, Kelly, who’s hair is different every time I see her. And it always looks ah-mazing! So I’m making it a goal add a little variety. Let me know if you’ve got any ideas! I’ll try ’em!

(PS: I’m trying to GROW my hair, so let’s try to work with that, shall we?)

OK, now that that’s out of the way…

Did you see the picture I put up of my manicure on twitter yesterday? It’s pretty fun! I don’t have any “real” pics of it yet, so you’ll have to wait until later! But let’s just say that I felt very daring! I actually told the lady, “I know it’s just nail polish, but I feel like I’m giving myself a mohawk!” Why is it so hard to choose a color at the nail salon? Perhaps it’s because I don’t go very often? And I don’t experiment with a bunch of colors? Or because I don’t like risks? I don’t know, but this bold choice is making me want to make more bold choices! Who knows what I’ll do next! Maybe I’ll buy something online without trying it on first!!! Eeeeeee!

The Weekend

Saturday

Ate a wonderful dinner at Annie Guns and then finally tried on these…

and decided on neither. Still thinking people. Still thinking.

Sunday

Sunday we went to church and then to my parents house. A great time was had by all. We ate BBQ and potato salad and there was some holding of cute babies. Then, we were off to our next destination…the in-laws. We went to dinner at Brio and I made Bob take my pictures while he was not feeling great. Well, you get what you pay for. We successfully have a lot of blurry and ugly photos. Except these two:

Then, when we got home, Bob went straight to bed and I stayed up looking at Louis Vuitton purses for an hour. Ahhh, what a great weekend!
