Today Bob said, “Wow! You’re hair’s getting long!” I got excited because I’m trying to grow it a bit. I asked if he liked it and he told me it looked kind of like Farrah Fawcett. Now I ask you, do I look like Farrah Fawcett in any way? Seriously? Does he think Farrah Fawcett is someone else?

In other news, Bella, our puppy, is doing so good! She is catching on to things we’re teaching her so fast! And she’s so cute and sweet. I’m trying to teach her not to bite my toes, but it tickles so much and I kind of like it.

Tomorrow Bob and I are going downtown to work with an organization to give away shoes and school supplies to kids in the inner city. We’ve done it once before and it’s an amazing thing to be able to give out of our abundance. We really have it so good and I am one grateful girl.

fall is coming

So, I am a warm weather person. I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before. I am cold all year round, but I have a better chance to be warm in the spring and summer, so I much prefer them. However, I know that I have to live through winter so I’m going to dwell on the best of them and get myself psyched out for the cold. Here are some things I’m looking forward to:

  1. Snuggling on the couch watching movies with Bob
  2. Bella (my puppy) will be potty trained by then and will go out on her own.
  3. New episodes of my favorite shows
  4. Honeycrisp Apples
  5. Jeggings (I’m kinda shy with leggings, but think I need a pair!)
  6. Leaves turning colors
  7. Bare trees against the winter sky
  8. Christmas
  9. My Birthday
  10. Uggs (Sure! Pass judgement on me now, but once winter comes, you’ll be wearing them too.)
  11. Hot beverages (honey lattes, rooibos tea, hot chocolate, etc.)
  12. Thanksgiving dinner (easliy my favorite meal of the year)
  13. Valentine’s Day
  14. Cutting down a Christmas Tree
  15. The Fall line from Anthropologie (Can I please have those boots!?!)

Day 25 Girls Lunch

So, I know I totally wore this tank yesterday, but here’s the thing. I was actually cleaning almost all day yesterday and so I had on grubby clothes. So technically I only had it on for an hour or so before my PJs. So it really didn’t even count. Besides, it goes so well with these shoes and when I click my heels together three times. . .

How do you like my rose today? I went to lunch with a fabulous friend today. She just got back from a trip and brought me this as a gift! Isn’t she sweet!? I put it on and love how it looks like part of the necklace, but it’s better because it attaches to my shirt! No awkward necklace sagging here!
