High Heels

08.16.2010 by Linda Lotich //

These heels are 5 inches tall. By far the tallest pair I own. And they’re amazing! I’m not to the point yet where I could walk around the mall with them, but I must say they are pretty comfy. And since wearing them, I have been wearing heels everyday! I don’t remember the last time I was excited to wear heels. They make me walk taller, I stand straighter, they make me look better. Oh, I just love heels. Do you?

Bob and I went out on Friday (and by out I mean we left the house) and I was itching to wear these shoes! I love them!

Day 30 Business Casual

08.11.2010 by Linda Lotich //

30 for 30 Banner

Not sure why I’m calling this business casual. I wore it to church and I no longer work in an office. Oh well, here it is! My last outfit for the challenge!

JCrew Pants

I got this shirt from Bitten. Do you remember Sarah Jessica Parker’s line? It was so great and so cheap! I got an awesome t-shirt from there that did not like to be washed and lost it’s form rather quickly. But this shirt has lasted me 2 years! I also got an awesome winter coat for $10! I’m sad Steve & Barry’s closed and there is no longer any cheapo Bitten clothes for me to buy.

Here is my new Linkel Designs Ring! Isn’t it great! I’m loving it.

Linkel Designs Ring

This challenge has been better than I thought it would be. Don’t get me wrong, I had a difficult time coming up with new, unique outfits and didn’t always succeed, but it was so good for me to see how much I had with only 30 pieces! I’m looking forward to doing this again if Kendi does it in the Fall because I’m realizing there are some items in my closet that I actually do like, but don’t ever wear! How tragic! They are made and bought for my wearing, but too often I find myself thinking they’re boring. I definitely appreciate my clothes more and am looking forward to new possibilites with all my clothes from now on!

Day 28 & 29 Shorts

08.10.2010 by Linda Lotich //

You know, I’m really not into shorts. I would much rather be in a skirt. But I found amazing use out of these shorts! Both of these outfits were worn on the weekend by me and I wasn’t able to get pics fast enough. But, I’m ready for this challenge to be over, so I’m showing them off anyway! 🙂

This top one I wore the day of Bob’s softball tournament (he’s on the blue team!) and the day we got Bella. That was all one day, not two. Bella got it dirty before I could get a good pic though. This hat I bought at Charlotte Russe and found some patches from Victoria Secret Pink and ironed them on! This is probably the coolest hat I own, which isn’t saying much. But it is necessary for those days when it’s humid beyond belief and I have to be outside.

Now this outfit, I wore when I wasn’t feeling great and I knew I was going to be a bit chilly. I also stopped by the mall. But I didn’t buy a thing! I swear!
