We’re home! And boy did we have a fun adventure! I wanted to tell you all about it, but yesterday’s post I put up from my phone.

Yes, I love technology.
But not as much as you, you see.
But I still love technology.
Always and Forever

So, I bought a dress from Anthropologie. I almost bought it online, but when I went to pull the trigger, it was sold out! But I got it anyway and didn’t even have to pay shipping! And on our way home, we stopped at a boot shop on the side of the highway and I bought a pair of authentic cowboy boots! I don’t know why I keep buying boots when it’s 95 degrees outside, but for some reason I can’t stop myself.

I just gotta say how blessed I feel. Not only did we get to have a couple days away, we actually got to have some really good food, have a little fun money, and be with each other the entire time. (And those are my Thursday Latelies that I didn’t post yesterday! 🙂 I’ll get back in the swing of things one of these days, I promise!)

Yesterday I wore some heels that made my foot hurt in a weird way. So this morning I decided I was gonna keep on my tennies. And I did! And I liked it. A LOT! (Quote from the Sandlot…anyone?) I mean all I had to do today was run to my mom’s house to color her hair and work.

Then as I was getting dressed I started thinking about how sad it was that Sporty Spice only got to wear work out clothes! I mean, they were cute, but I would hate it if that’s all I ever got to wear! Although that is probably what kept her from being the worst dressed Spice Girl. Why, Scary, Why? And of course, Posh even looked amazing back then. Not Fair.

These Jeans

I wore these jeans all. weekend. long. They look nice and they’re super comfy. What more could a girl ask for? And then, bonus, I found this shirt in my pile of summer clothes I never pulled out! I feel like I have new clothes and I didn’t have to spend a dime!

So, what did I do this weekend, you might ask? Well, we had a birthday celebration for my mama in law, we went out with a few friends for dinner and dessert, church, bike rides and sunday night our church put on a show! Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! It was pretty fantastic. My little sister had kind of a big role and I couldn’t be prouder. She did such a great job and looked like a model! I wish I had pictures!

Speaking of models, I’ve been kind of obsessing over a couple blogs the past few days, going through their archives, etc. Thought you’d want to know what I was reading. 1. Good Life For Less (I go through her archives once every few months!) and 2. The Weigands (This one is new for me and I can’t get enough!)
