What To Wear With A Chambray Top: Double Denim

01.31.2013 by Linda Lotich //

Chambray (I’m finally getting this tomorrow!!!!!), Jacket, Bright Sweater, Denim, Necklace
Navy Dress, Hat, Necklace

This week, I was in JCrew (my current muse) and these were the first two looks as you walk in the door. I must say, I was a little shocked to see a jean jacket, with jeans, and a chambray top. It seemed a little over the top to me and at the same time absolutely amazing. They have a way of doing that. What do you think about this look? Do you think you could (or would) pull it off? I think I may give it a go. I already have most (though I am buying this top tomorrow) of these items in my closet, so it wouldn’t be difficult to pull off without spending a dime. Let me know what you think!

I’m also totally in love with this dress right next to it. Isn’t it so beautiful! I am a huge fan of dresses with sleeves. I usually get a little chilly and this is perfect for that little bit of chill to keep you a bit warmer. Or, it allows for a fur vest or something else over it. So beautiful.

And while we’re talking about JCrew, I’m obsessed with this bag. Yes. I want another bag. Lord help me!

The Perfect White Jeans

01.30.2013 by Linda Lotich //

Well, I finally settled on the perfect pair of white jeans. I know you’ve all been waiting with bated breath . . . Ha!

Anyway, as you know, I bought a pair of the Matchstick jeans from JCrew and asked you all for some help and boy did you help! Your advice was if I wanted to wear them with boots, I should go a size smaller. So I went back and tried on a size smaller. What I finally decided is that they were still a little too wide at the ankle for wearing inside boots. They are for sure more of a straight leg than a skinny jean. So while I really loved them, I just decided they weren’t the right purchase for me right now.

So after looking high and low, I finally found this pair at American Eagle. And while the quality is not as great as the JCrew pair, I can comfortably tuck them into boots or wear them with heels.

A Little Help Please . . . JCrew Matchstick Jeans

01.22.2013 by Linda Lotich //

JCrew Matchstick PantsJeans, Top

Ladies! I need a little help. If you follow me on Instagram, you have already seen this photo. Earlier this week, I went to JCrew (the factory store) and got these cute white Matchstick Jeans. Bob thought they were great and I’ve been wanting white jeans for a while now, so I pulled the trigger. Then, I came home. And started thinking. (A dangerous pastime, I know.) And I started wondering about the bunching around the knees. You see, these are skinny jeans, not jeggings. And I wondered if after 5 minutes of wearing them if I would be annoyed that they’re always bunching.

This is where you come in. Do you have these jeans? I just need a little help with them. Can you tell me if you have any of the problems I’m describing or if I’m just being silly? I already feel like I won’t be able to tuck them into boots. Is this true?

HELP ME!

PS: I am also open to opinions from those of you who do not have these jeans. Let me have it!
