We’re in Florida!!! The weather is everything I dreamed it would be. Yesterday I even had shorts on!

Anyway, on our way down, we stopped at some friends house. You know the kind of friends who bring out things in yourself that you didn’t know were there? Those kinds of friends. They were so accommodating and sweet and made me want to move to Ashveille, NC! So cheers to Matt and Betsy. Thanks for all your hospitality. Hope to see you on our way back!

And yes, I’m going to paint my toe nails. Thanks for the reminder.

Secret Santa Party

Monday night was the Secret Santa party and it was pretty amazing. Our lovely hostesses thought of everything and even had a few surprises up their sleeves. 🙂 Always a pleasure.

Anyway, here are a few random pics from the night. Real outfit photos didn’t happen, but you sorta get the idea. And I’ve threw in one special pic with my friend Anna who is also the hostess. Apparently she believes.

Girls Night

Tuesday night, I went to dinner with a few of my friends and we talked about the movie “The Women.” What is it about movies with a bunch of pretty ladies who are friends that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. It makes me want to have a group of friends that I go to dinner (or lunch or brunch!) with at least once a week and we tell each other our deepest secrets. And even though my husband is my best friend by far, nothing seems to replace girl talk with the few who will listen to me, help me solve my problems, relate to ridiculously funny stories, and make me laugh until my stomach and face hurt.
