Yea! I’m finally caught up!

I never realized how much I love plaid! I’ve got all these plaid things in my 30/30 wardrobe and I’m loving them. They add a little bit of spice in this not so spicy challenge.

And by the way, I would have never worn the second outfit had it not been for the challenge. Thanks Kendi! I think you achieved your goal!

What To Do (Outfit 12 & 13)

OK, so at the beginning of the challenge I ordered 2 things online and was going to incorporate them in my 30/30. Well, they came in the mail and I actually hated them both. Seriously. Now I have this stinking dilema on weather to keep it at 28, or try and figure out which 2 items I should have incorporated in my mix and wear those instead. What do you think?

I asked my friend Gertrude to do the challenge with me and she said she likes wearing lots of layers too much during this time of year and so our challenge to each other became for me to wear as few items as possible and her to wear as many items as possible. Ha ha! I’m feeling pretty good about what I’ve worn so far. So I kind of want to see how few I can get by with. But I also have a hankerin’ to wear some other stuff. This denim shirt, for example, I could wear everyday, but I think you’d get bored with it. Unless I should try to wear it everyday and see how many ways I can actually style it! Ha ha!

Feeling A Little Old (Outfit 11)

Can you believe that in a week Thanksgiving will be over? That makes me happy and sad at the same time.

Sad because I feel like an old person and am saying things like “I don’t know where the time has gone!” It’s true though. When I was in school I remember someone telling me “Honey, when you get out of school, time flies by.” They were so right. This past year has been a year of BIG changes and I can’t believe how fast it’s gone by. Two weeks just went by and I almost forgot they even happened. Why does it work like that?

Happy because I am so glad Thanksgiving is so close! It’s for sure my favorite meal of the year. My mom always makes these things called sticky rolls and they’re to die for. And because I think we’re going to start putting out some Christmas decorations today. We get our tree a week from today, so we’re plotting out how the house should look. Weee! So, here is my “It’s almost Thanksgiving and Christmas” outfit.
