Finally went for it and bought myself a pair of Sole Society shoes. And guess what! They’re pointy flats! 🙂
Speaking of the pointy shoes, I feel the need to clarify something. I had a few people tell me that they’ve been wearing them this whole time. OK, I know, they have been “in” for quite some time. I think my point was that I wasn’t sure how long they’d last. I thought they’d be there today and gone tomorrow. But I was wrong. Does that clear things up? OK good, because I was feeling like a dufus for a few days there.

 

Pointy Toe Shoes

I’ve been seeing pointy toe shoes for a while now, on and off. But I guess I thought maybe they were a quick fad making the comeback from just a few years ago. But I just saw them in the December (I know, I’m behind) Vogue which makes me think they’ll be here a while considering most of that fashion takes a few years to trickle down to my midwest home. So, this makes me want to finally go for it.

We’re in Florida!!! The weather is everything I dreamed it would be. Yesterday I even had shorts on!

Anyway, on our way down, we stopped at some friends house. You know the kind of friends who bring out things in yourself that you didn’t know were there? Those kinds of friends. They were so accommodating and sweet and made me want to move to Ashveille, NC! So cheers to Matt and Betsy. Thanks for all your hospitality. Hope to see you on our way back!

And yes, I’m going to paint my toe nails. Thanks for the reminder.
