Last week was Bob’s birthday. And I don’t know about you, but we like to go all out for birthdays in this house. I started it off with it being the one time of year where you get to be the Queen (or King) and Bob has taken it farther and just out done me every time. So this year, I got serious and got a room at a cool downtown hotel for the night. And it was the perfect day. We talked and planned and ate delicious food and Bob got to be the King.

Also, I’d like to recommend just sitting in the lobby to hang out or read. This hotel had these over sized chairs that we both sat in and read by the fire. Now that’s a cheap date!

Sweater, Jeans, Boots, Scarf

Got this coat last Monday. I hung out with my friend Tracy. She was childless for a few hours, so we took to the mall like the old days: going to every store we possibly could and shopping our little hearts out. We both had some good luck. She found this cute arrow necklace at F21 (such a steal!) and I got this coat, which was not as much as a steal, but I think it’s a great purchase. I’ll be wearing it all Spring (if it ever gets here!) and then again in Fall.

On a separate note, I’m thinking I should do a 30 for 30 soon. It scares me to even utter those words, but I think it would be good for me. What do you think?
