Forever In Love

Hi Friends! I feel like I haven’t posted in forever! I’m still here. Promise! 🙂 It’s been kind of a hectic week. But I’ve been wearing my 30/30 outfits just as I promised. Yesterday Bob and I went on a walk to take these pics. We were holding hands and we saw a sweet little old man who said, “Now that’s what I like to see! You can really tell when two people love each other. You have a great day!”

It was so cute. Made us both smile and giggle a little. That is for sure one of our goals—to stay in love as long as we’re alive…even when we have kids! We’re preparing ourselves now for distractions and annoyances and keeping our love strong for each other. We know we can’t really prepare for what is to come, but we’re at least trying. Got any tips for us?

What To Wear: 30/30 Challenge

OK, here is the plan for the 30/30 challenge (details here). I got really organized this time and actually wrote out 30 outfits. This is unlike me. I’d rather fly by the seat of my pants, but last time I felt I was losing momentum and needed a little help, so this time I decided to just make a little cheat sheet. I think I’m only going to use it if I’m desperate.

I really don’t like wearing the same outfit more than once (not sure why) so I think after making this list it’ll force me to be even more creative because I’ve already “worn” a lot of these outfits in my mind and want to move on. Ha ha! Hopefully the creative juices will flow freely. Or I’ll just resort to the list.

Oh, and I’m waiting on 2 items to come in the mail that will be added to these 28 items.

A Walk in the Park

Bob and I took a sweet hike on Sunday. I never would have gone on hikes if it weren’t for Bob. He loves nature and this is one thing he taught me to appreciate. Still haven’t gotten the camping thing down yet. Oy! I pretty much hate camping. Of course he’s taken me only when it’s freezing cold. His reasoning is that there will be no bugs, which is good, but when I wake up (if I can even sleep, that is) and can’t feel my appendages, there’s something wrong. One time, it snowed. Are you kidding me? I cried and he took me home, of course. Ha ha! I’m a big baby.

But enough about stupid camping. I’m really enjoying this beautiful fall weather and the forest of yellow leaves. It’s feels like a fairy tale.
