Back From Texas

Well, I’m back from Texas! Jill and I had an amazing time at the Texas Style Council and I’ll have lots of recapping to do including a little sompin sompin she and I are working on for y’all who wanted to go, but couldn’t. But, let’s start with what I wore to the swap on Friday night.

You would have never known we were in Texas in spring, because it was in the 40’s and POURING down rain! Oh, did I mention we forgot our umbrellas and had to park a few blocks away and got lost? Yeah.

I was so lucky I brought a couple pair of boots and this rain coat. They saved me.

Travel Day

Today I’m coming home from the Texas Style Council! Yahoo! I’m sure I’ll have at least one post letting you guys know how it went and all. But hear are just a couple more pics of my trip from Florida.

We stayed on Amelia Island. Have you been there? Very sweet and quaint and non-touristy. It was perfect for a retreat. And it had this charming downtown area where we often rode our bikes to so I could get ice cream. 🙂 Though it was windy and chilly most of the trip, this day (below) was one of the warmest and provided me a little tan. (fist pump!)

The Vacation Continues

Gosh, we really had a refreshing time! Most days were spend in the condo reading books, listening to self improvement cd’s, playing scrabble or monopoly, and talking. But we got a few fun ones from the days we actually left the condo.
