11.05.2010 by Linda Lotich //

So, this is totally not current, but it’s good for you to see some oldies, right? Maybe sometime I’ll even show you me with blond hair! This time, you get to see short hair Linda. She has since decided not to go short again as it is not the most flattering.

Remember when I told you if you wanted to make friends carry around a ukulele through the airport? Well this is when I did just that. My sister-in-law had a destination wedding in Sarasota, FL and Bob and I were the rock-star performers, ukulele included. I unfortunately don’t have a pic of the uke, but there is one of me and Bobby singing “1 2 3 4” by the Plain White T’s while everyone exited. Oh yeah, it was hot. Especially the part when all our family was walking up the aisle and we were stuck on the side and they were all talking and it totally distracted us and we quit singing for a few lines. Ha ha! Ah well.

Oh, and the best part? I my bestie Gertie got to come take the pics! Yeah, she’s a traveling photographer in case you want to book her. Such a tough job she has. 😉

Doesn’t it look like fun? I want to do it again! Maybe Bob and I should renew our wedding vows?

30/30 Challenge

11.01.2010 by Linda Lotich //

Wow, it’s time of the 30/30 challenge again! Have you heard about it yet? You have to pick out 30 articles of clothing (shoes included) and only wear those items for 30 days! It’s a challenge for sure, but so worth it. You really figure out what awesome thing you actually have in your closet and how versatile they really are! I am going to be house sitting for 2 of those weeks, so I’m betting it’s going to be a good start for me.

Get in on it! You can get more details at Kendi Everyday!

Shopping: Talbots

10.29.2010 by Linda Lotich //

My mom has recently lost a bunch of weight (I’m so proud of her!) and almost nothing in her closet fits her. And when I say almost nothing, I mean she has about 5 things she can wear. Can you believe that! It’s fun and frustrating all at the same time. But she asked me to help her today. It was pretty fun. We went to Talbots. I usually find their style is more for someone my mom’s age than me, but I couldn’t believe this item! You totally can’t see how amazing this is, but it looked good on me, our sales associate, and my mom! I think that’s one versatile item! It’s really beautiful and will be perfect for the holidays—for you or your mom.
