You know all those people who say they found cool stuff while they were “thrifting?” You know those people? I do too. I am not one of them. I may have found 5 cool things. And do you know how much I’ve looked? A lot! Normally I find old grody t-shirts that are short and wide. Sick! Plus, I always feel like taking a shower after I leave. Double sick!

Maybe my problem is that I can’t figure out how to see the potential and make those weird pieces actually look cool. Like Paige. She’s a freakin’ genius. But one day I went in and found some shoes for Bob and then at the register I found this unpriced Michael Kors necklace. So, I asked how much it was and since it was unmarked, she gave it to me for $1!

I walked a little taller that day—after I disinfected the necklace and myself that is. Ha ha. Maybe I need a psychologist to get over my phobia of dirty things. That’s why I got a dog.
