Since reading some books on minimalism (I rolled my eyes at first, too) I’ve been craving clean, simple home design. What I really mean is, good bones, and few decor accessories. I used to love the whole cluttery look (think Kathleen Kelly’s apartment), but now, I just want to see just a few things decorating really gorgeous furniture, or countertops, or floors. I think it has to do with the fact that I love keeping a clean home. It’s hard enough when you have baby toys everywhere. I want my kitchen counters cleared off! Know what I mean?
I’m recognizing a white & gold & wood trend going on here.
