Hello to all of Linda’s lovely readers, so thrilled to be here. I’m Maria of Johns Journal where I pen a lifestyle blog sharing about  life, love, and even fashion!
 Linda is a true sweetheart and so thoughtful to have me, I read her blog daily and adore her style.
Lately, I’ve been on a quest to battle any winter blues that inevitably sneak in this time of year. I think the perfect anecdote to the long cold days of Winter is wearing bright colors. It’s generally unexpected and such a sweet cherry surprise on those dreary gray days. Even a single accessory with a jolt of color can put an extra skip to your step. Take that winter! And bonus, almost all of these items can mix and match!

Hello friends! How’s it going? Did you have a good weekend? I hope so.

I thought I’d pull a few photos from our trip last year so it feels like you’re seeing what we’re doing now. 😉 I hope I get as tan as I did last year. Being tan always makes me look better. I think I was born in the wrong part of the world. I should live on a tropical island.
