Finally went for it and bought myself a pair of Sole Society shoes. And guess what! They’re pointy flats! 🙂
Speaking of the pointy shoes, I feel the need to clarify something. I had a few people tell me that they’ve been wearing them this whole time. OK, I know, they have been “in” for quite some time. I think my point was that I wasn’t sure how long they’d last. I thought they’d be there today and gone tomorrow. But I was wrong. Does that clear things up? OK good, because I was feeling like a dufus for a few days there.

Someone commented that this pink vest was my best purchase of 2012. And I’m pretty sure they were right. After buying it in October, I basically never took it off. Wearing in place of a coat, under a coat for extra warmth, and just wearing it everyday around the house to keep me from freezing—this has been my go-to item all fall and winter. And guess what. It’s back online. And it’s on sale. Just thought you should know.

We went out to dinner with Bob’s family just the other night and had some amazing food! The restaurant was very cramped, but I think we all agreed that it was worth it. Anyway, this is what I wore. And when I walked out from getting dressed, Bob gave me a look that either said, “this is super hot” or “that outfit sucks.” Fortunately for me, he quickly siad, “This is the best thing you’ve worn since we got down here!” Yeah baby! Love when I get the thumbs up from the MAN! Not sure if everyone else agrees, but it honestly doesn’t matter. I like to make him happy.
