The Beach Boys

So last night we got to see the Beach Boys…on the Beach. :) It was pretty stinkin’ amazing! They sounded really great, played all my favorites, had John Stamos as the drummer, and even got Vince Vaughn on stage! What about this night wasn’t good!? Oh, and Uncle Jesse even sang this song:

    oh my gosh. i can’t handle that video! Why the heck is he in a bed? what does that have to do with his “kids”?

     I have _many_ memories of singing this song at the top of my lungs at a 6/7/8 year old. Who wasn’t in love with Full House?

     My friend Stephanie and I watched episode after episode of Full House together and watched all the reruns in junior high and high school.  We would quote lines from the show together (wow, as I type this, I’m realizing just how nerdy we were, haha!).  Fast forward to my wedding, where Steph was the matron of honor.  She pulled a “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and when she gave her toast said, “I heard that you two don’t have a song.  So this one is on loan to you . . . ” Then she played Jesse and the Rippers “Forever.”  It was HILARIOUS!

    Help me to remember–which Beach Boys album was Stamos on? Which original Beach Boys song did he sing on? He seems much much younger than the Beach Boys, and I don’t see his name on the credits for any of their albums. Can I be a Beach Boy too?

    that is totally a dream come true! i’ve seen the beach boys a few times after baseball games & at state fairs, but NEVER with uncle jesse! drooool.
