So Jill put up a photo of her trying on some lace shorts yesterday, and I remembered how I’ve been looking for a good pair for a while. And last year, my friend Tracy wore an outfit similar to this one I’ve created below (actually her shirt was a bit more army inspired, but close to this shape. so cute!), and it was so chic! She’s a mom and needs to be able to move around, look nice, and not have her shirt pulled down at any given moment. I have to admit, she’s one of my fashion icons.

This week is St. Louis Fashion Week, and though I will not be able to attend most of the festivities (because a certain someone is getting married!!!!!), I did get invited by Alive Magazine to the kick off party last week. First thing I did was call my friend Carol (because she always seems to have the answer!) and ask her what to wear. She informed me I could wear pants (Hallelujah! I was not in the mood for a dress people.) So I pulled out these trusty vegan leather pants and this cutie old dress (that’s really a shirt) and drove my little self (and Karah!) over for the kick off party and fashion show by Elise Lammert!

The first sign of Spring and I pulled out these Emerson Fry goodies that I bought at their outlet back in January! It’s the first time I’m getting to wear them and I already know they’re going to be a favorite. They may be 4″ tall, but they’re comfy! And cute! And they go with everything. Love finding shoes like that.
And referencing this post, I wore this on top yesterday, but today I basically look the same. Hoping to take off some layers as the day warms up. Yea for spring!!!

Everytime I hang out with my friend Gertrude, I get into trouble. Somehow, it just finds us. We go somewhere, with a purpose, and end up shopping. Happens EveryDay. Somehow I found the need to buy this sweater and this lipgloss. I NEEDED it. And if you think I ain’t gonna style this sweater like this, you’ve got another thing coming.
