Today the sun is shining so bright ad it’s in the 80′s! So I am really feeling summer. On top of that I’ve been searching for a sweet little Romper to add to my closet for some time. I don’t love to shop online, but I’m taking a risk on this sweet little number because it’s too cute not to. I love it’s simplicity and easy breezy-ness. And today, it’s 40% off! Since all I’ve been doing over here is obsessing over Stella and Dot, I figured I might as well tell you about the things I’m finding. This necklace (the Bianca Tassel Necklace) is quickly becoming my favorite piece from the Stella and Dot samples I ordered. It’s so solid and hearty. It’s a statement piece, but somehow still feels simple. It’s whimsical. Love it. I’m pretty sure it’ll be in my closet for years to come.
Plus, did you know their jewelry is all lead and nickel safe? And they use mostly natural materials, like gold and silver! I just keep being astounded by the beautiful quality of everything I see.

After a very dreary weekend, the sun finally came out on Sunday night as the sun was setting. It was beautiful. So I forced Bob to snap some pics. There’s some blur in there, but the lighting was so yummy we couldn’t resist.
It’s been really rainy here the past few weeks. April showers bring May flowers, I guess. We spent most of the Saturday on the couch taking naps and watching shows and snuggling. I gotta admit, it was pretty awesome. But nothing compares to the Sun. I miss it. But soon enough, all the days will be sunny and I’ll be wishing for some rain to cool things off. So I guess I gotta enjoy life while it’s happening. So let’s bring out the blankets and Hunter boots and warm drinks as our last hurrah. Summer is on it’s way!

This is my favorite new lip combo: the Tarte LipSurgence in Exposed, and the Mac Lip Glass in Smile. The Targe Lipsurgence is so great because it’s all natural! And that’s what I’m all about. Plus, it’s more like a lip balm with the added bonus of color. They have all sorts of shades, but this perfect neutral color makes me feel like Holly Golightly.

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m trying to stay away from sugar. For lots of reasons, but the main one being it’s just no good for you. So the other day I was walking around the kitchen because I wanted something. Just something. Usually I’d go for some dove chocolates, but they’re not even in the house anymore and I wanted something a little more fruity. Since we had raspberries in the house, I thought up a fun drink and it totally made me so happy!
Here’s what you need:
1: Some Raspberries (or blackberries or strawberries or a few orange slices!)
2: Zevia Soda
3: Ice Ice Baby.
4: A few sprigs of Mint (if you’re feeling sassy)
Instructions:
1: Crush half the raspberries at the bottom of a glass.
2: Add Zevia soda.
3: Top off with ice, whole raspberries and some mint.
4: Dance around the house as you enjoy!
